George Müller Museum
A story rehomed.
An incredible tale has found itself written on the walls in the new George Müller Museum. We were awarded the position of fitting out this entire Museum where old stories and Victorian era artefacts are now on display for years to come.
The Perfect destination for school trip.
Fitted with several visitor controlled interactive including revolving image blocks, informational diagrams with openable flaps containing more information and dress up and photo opportunities throughout. We worked alongside the designer and Mullers trust to maximise and ensure every inch of space was used to tell Mullers story.
To do this we built multiple angled display walls which we were fitted with graphic panels, working with original photos to enlarge, reprint and sometimes reframe for display. Carefully manufacturing the walls to allow us to inset our bespoke LED lit glass display cases to showcase some wonderful artefacts.
The walls also housed flush mounted doors with invisible catches which displayed a range of information from photos of the original orphanage to fun questions and information, a rolling graphic display with movable clock hands was added too so the younger visitor could experience a day in the life of an orphan.
Floor graphics were fitted, fun maps and a game of hop scotch. One of the rooms we created a stunning bespoke fire resistant storage unit, with over 400 clear boxes housing original records, AV was also added to bring the story to life with multiple video selection options and all housed in super slim units to maximise space.
