Gilbert White House and Oates Collection.

Crafting Cultural Treasures.

Beaufort Bespoke triumphed in securing and executing the Gilbert White House and the Oates Collection project, crafting vivid exhibits like an African Krall and a 19th-century Oxcart. Collaborating closely, they elevated the museum's appeal, leading to a remarkable 60% increase in visitor numbers.

Rooms filled with accurate replicas and drawers filled with interactives.

Beaufort Bespoke won the competitive tender to manufacture and install the new exhibits for Gilbert White House and the Oates collection. This project involved building recreations of an African Krall, a 19th-century Oxcart. Various interactive displays aimed at children and multiple graphic displays. There were many rare artifacts that had to be displayed, using a variety of mounting methods.

We worked closely with both the designers and curators at the museum to achieve displays that are both informative and attractive. The project was co-funded by the local authority and the Heritage Lottery Fund, and since completion has seen an increase in visitor numbers of 60%.
